Morris Racing was established in July of 2002. The team was set up in Malaysia by expatriate
Australian businessman Rodney Gilbert who has been based in the region for
over ten years. The team is owned by Cashflow Trends Sdn. Bhd. a division
of Trendworld Industrial Corporation LTD. Morris Racing currently competes
in several go-kart championships in Malaysia and operates out of a workshop based at the Elite Karting
Track. After a successful 2003 season, the team has set its ambitions higher for 2004. Charlie Charles, Mikko Nassi, and Melvin Moh will take part in the Formula 100 category in the Asian Zone Championships in South East Asia, and in the ICA category in the Asia-Pacific Karting Championships in Japan. Mitchell Gilbert will continue in the Cadet category.
